Cabin Fever
We were so lucky to have such great fall weather when we got to Poland. However, last Monday our luck ran out and it turn grey, cold and began drizzling. It makes it hard to fill up the day when we can't go outdoors. Surprisingly though we had a really good day yesterday even though we spent the majority of the day in the apartment. We had to be very creative in coming up with things to do! Today we had a visit from Magda, the lawyer, and our social worker. The girls were so excited to have some company...especially company that spoke Polish. Overall the visit went really well and we are glad to have that behind us. We have 5 more days until our court date and then on to Warsaw! We are thinking of Julie and Jim right now as they are in Warsaw with their new little boy! We hope to meet him next week!

How sweet that the girls are already saying "I love you very much" in English. Isn't it the best feeling in the world to hear your little girls tell you they love you. I hope the weather improves soon so you can get out more. I'm so glad your visit with the social worker went well and is behind you. I'm so excited for you having your court date soon.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful for you! Sounds like everything is going well. Good thoughts (and maybe some SC weather) sent your way for the remainder of your trip!
ReplyDeletePiękne!! :) Glad things are going so well! It seems like the time has gone by fast, only 5 more days until court! Enjoy the concentrated bonding time together. :)
ReplyDeleteGlad things are going well! Only five more days until court, that's great!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering how you were doing with the drizzly weather. Jim was getting cabin fever too! Luckily we killed a day at the Salt Mines! It's a good thing you are creative to keep them busy when you are all cooped up!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to hear you had a nice visit yesterday. Now it's time to tour Krakow!!!! See you in Warsaw next week!
How absolutely sweet! So glad to hear all is well!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Glad to hear it is going well and you have a good routine down. Sorry about the cold, drizzly rain. Our favorite rainy day activity was shaving cream in the "clothes tub" I found in the apartment. I emptied and entire can of shaving cream (non smelling) and hid the animals in it. Think about all of the mountains, smooshing, etc you can do. No matter the age they love playing in shaving cream.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your court date!
