It's Go Time!
It is officially Go Time! We are finally leaving in two weeks to get our girls. After shedding tears of joy we began making our "to do" list. Luckily, we have been planning ever since we got back from Poland in April....so for the most part we are very prepared. We had originally planned to drive Scooter out to Denver to stay with my parents but because of time constraints he will stay with Vito's best friend (who has Scooters girlfriend Nala) in NJ. It is a great comfort to know that he will be well cared for. We are also making arrangements with Vito's sister and her family to visit from Germany. It will be wonderful for the girls to spend time with their aunt and uncle and their 4 new cousins!!! We are so grateful they are able to come and visit us! The girls will also get to spend time with my parents as they are coming over for the last part of the trip. What a blessing for the girls to meet their new family so soon! We are also praying for a play date with little Pfalzer! Come on judge get them their court date!

ReplyDeleteThank you for all of your kinds words. We could not be happier. I will post lots of pictures when we get there. Our court date is Oct 6th and we were told to plan on possibly being there until Nov 18th! There is a holiday in October which could delay things in Warsaw. While that is a long time....I promised God that if he got me there I would not complain about a thing when I got there! So we are just going to go with the flow!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! How exciting - hope your trip over is uneventful. I'll be thinking of you on the 6th.
ReplyDeleteWe were also in Poland a long time and were ready to come home. I think the stress of not knowing each day if that would be the day you were leaving was the hardest.
I agree with C Speh, we were there almost 8 weeks, and near the end it was day to day, can we leave?!? I bet you'll be home sooner than Nov 18th, that must be longest case scenario for everything!! I hope your travels over to Poland are smooth and you enjoy your time getting to know your children!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome awesome awesome- not much more to say than that! Congrats and can't wait to hear all about your adventure over there!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! We are celebrating with you! Praying for a safe trip, a perfect "Gotcha Day" and a lifetime of joy. Can't wait to see the photos and follow you on the next chapter!
